I recently piped at our local Christmas Tree Lighting ceremony. I was asked to play my favorite Advent hymn "O Come, O Come, Emmanuel." I admit to cheating a bit by having the score on a stand next to me. Here I am, up in the choir loft, playing:

It's kind of dark--you can't make out much detail. Here I am later--after helping with the ceremony, kid's crafts, hosting folks at the tree lighting and when all the craziness was done. Now you can make out my Gunn Modern, etc.

It was a long, full night.

I wore this outfit to a concert & then to a Christmas party. USAK 5-yard, 16oz wool kilt. Campbell Ancient tartan. Lewis hose, jacket & vest are also from Rocky at USA Kilts - it's the "Wallace" jacket. Thanks Rocky for making me look good ....yes, eventually I'll get around to upgrading the sporran....

I wore my ancient Duncan to the works night out as its green white and red. I don't have any pics of it on the night but I lost track of how many folk wanted pics with the kilt.
Just found one of the pics on Facebook.

For the Christmas Season, I like to wear my kilt in green-and-red Kerr tartan.

    So...what makes these "Christmas" colors?

Not much of the kilt showing, but the green and red in this Morrison Green Modern go well with the season. Click image for larger version.

Good stuff in this thread! I can't find the "Aye" button but I like all the pics - it's good to see how other people wear the kilt to the same events I'm going to!

    Thank you all for sharing!
