P.S. I'm very sorry...Thank you very much for the compliment.
Well, that makes complete sense! The thought actually did cross my mind that your hose may have been pulled up a wee bit further. Thank you for your explanation, mate...the hose do look absolutely gorgeous and I'm sure the craftsmanship is superb. Sure, feel free to pass on the said Macpherson's contact information. Although, it's quite plausible that I may already know the person! I do know that John Charles and Anne Macpherson live in Hudson, NY, which I assume isn't too, too far away from the Rochester area. By the way, I work with a chap that hails from Rochester...born and bred.
Best wishes,

A pic from my favorite kilt maker . ( the kilt maker prefers to be private thus no name ) The kilt is currently being made , I will post pics once completed .
Montgomery Blue Modern , Batley Mill . Pleated to the block . There is a red flash when the kilt swishes , as illustrated on four of the pleats .

Cheers , Mike

Very nice Mike. I can't wait to see more. I especially like the flash under the pleats.....

I have been contemplating a box pleat in the Morrison Society like yours but I have another kilt in the works first.
Just FYI my Morrison is HOE muted not modern. The muted is more of a claret and is only available in 13 oz off the shelf.

Thanks Hawk ! The kilt maker and I discussed various options for the pleating and we decided on that one . I have been around kilts for a long time but had not seen my family tartan pleated in that way . ( love it ) I will post pics when completed .

Monitor colors have a way of not quite being true. Maybe we'll meet up at one of the California Highland Games, and I will see the real thing. I'm on the fence about Queen Mary in February...We'll see if it works out with work and family commitments.
