Passing of a member
I didn't see anything posted, but thought something should be said.
Anthony J. Bryant (who posted here as AJBryant) died in hospital December 25.
I didn't know him personally, but gained great respect for him through his interactions at armourarchive.org and his reputation within medieval recreation. He was a bit of a legend.
I have no sake in the house, but have toasted him with Atholl Brose.

Given the size of the forum and the number of members, the staff often doesn't learn of such things until someone brings it to our attention. Thank you indeed for doing so; I most certainly remember AJBryant and some of his postings. Like me, he spent many years in Japan and was very knowledgeable in his field. I'm truly saddened to hear of his passing.
I offer my sincere condolences to his family, friends, and loved ones. May he rest in peace.
