    David's Nice Kilt..

David I must say that is one sharp Kilt, I like these darker colors, Usually I don't like red mixed in at all ( I don't like red) but this combination of colors is really nice. What is it? Is the primary color a dark Green? Is this a 4 yard? Wool? Poly... ?

    Tartan...

Stewart Hunting...a "universal" tartan that anyone can wear. Also the regimental tartan of the Royal Scots, the oldest regiment of the British line, Princess Mary's Canadian Scottish Regiment, and the Pretoria Highlanders.

    One of my favourite tartans!

    Cheers,

    T.

Thanks for the compliment JohnAllen. The kilt is wool and the base color is green, sadley the picture doesn't do it justice. More to come. And as for the rest, that was well covered by Episcopalscot.
Thanks for that and the additional info, all I knew was that it was a universal tartan.

Your welcome, Actually the green in your photo looks deeper and more pleasing to me then the one in Rufus's photo, Can you do another close up of the Kilt with good lighting to show the fabric. It looks like a very dark green.

Post it to your Gallery the in the message use the image link like this.

NOTE, I added a space at the beginning just before the [img] to keep it from showing the image so you could see the code below.

Put it in your gallery then click on the thumbnail, then right click on the full size image and select properties. Then highlight the URL of the image with your mouse. . then at the tool bar on top row of your browser select Edit and copy then return to your new message and put the URL between the [img] [/image] commands with no space after and before them Voila your in.

I too admire the Stewart Hunting, it is on my next batch of wish list tartans, but if the mood strikes, it may move up sooner. David looks so relaxed, and Duncan looks so Duncan, but I would like to think that you too JohnAllen would look good in it, see how well it improves Graham's looks
