Brave new world at Vet school

Made my first outing today! I got the usual "what is the occasion?" and "what do you have under there?". All in all it was very well received. the funny thing is that some of my classmates didn't even notice until well into the afternoon!

Well done! sounds like a good start, the more your friends see you in a kilt the less an issue it will be.

Way to go my friend! I bet that you were the most comfortable one in class, and the most classy.

I've been wearing kilts to Jr. College here for about two years. I've even written articles for the school paper about kilt-wearing, so I'm known on campus as the "kilt guy."

I'm taking an EMT course now and have to wear fookin' troosers as part of the uniform. Some people seem truly shocked and somewhat disappointed that I'm not kilted. A couple of people even asked me about it.

One person who asked is a faculty advisor for the Student Council. I told him that I have to wear the EMT uniform for the class but I miss the kilts. I told him that you can't beat the comfort. He said, "I can imagine." I told him, "You don't have to imagine. Get one for yourself."
