Sorry for the sporadic posts... been having computer problems I'm trying to sort out. Anyway, The kilts made for MacLeods cutomers are indeed hand made in Scotland. The tags sewn into the waistband on the inside reads Lochcarron , and "hand made for" ....etc. The workmanship is meticulous and the fit perfect. MacLeods is a family type operation and they take good care of their customers. Given that you are going for a hand made kilt, expect a wait of up to a couple of months before you get to strap the kilt around your backside. But trust me... it's worth the wait. BTW, Stratford is a great place to strut your kilt. Hope you enjoy your stay there.
