I'd be more worried about the "Ultimate Scotsman outfit" there's too much Tartan shortbread, Haggis chasing, Whisky drinking stereotypical Scotsman happening there.
The hielan' man he wears the kilt, even when it's snowin';

But he kens fine where its goin'.

The "Ultimate" is actually embarrassing, isn't it?

Well, I had a look and they do ask for feedback. I suggested that they become more knowledgeable about Scottish norms to avoid caricatures. Who knows if they care, but if several of us say something similar, we might even some day decades from now, end up with good value.

Why? Just why?
"Ultimate Scotsman" Ultimate Numpty more like. Who in their right mind would part with over £1000 to look like that? It should not be allowed.

Really, David? There is one born every minute. Just hand around the US Highland Games and you will see them.

I have a history book that shows old photographs of Bonnie Prince Charlie in all three of those outfits - at one time!
I changed my signature. The old one was too ridiculous.

I'm heading to the Kansas City Highland games this Summer and I suspect there will be times where my wife will be elbowing me in the ribs to keep me from laughing and inadvertently insulting people. I'm always suspect of highland games running concurrent with a Ren Faire. I'm actually kind of dreading encountering an entire regiment of Mel Gibsons.

Avoid the 'budget' one! With that one you have to wear your flashes directly in front.
Strange that as you go up in price you still have the cheap-looking white hose.

For £1,000 a decent pair of Cheviot hose and a nice proper sporran...nevermind a proper kilt and jacket!
Heck, even some garter ties, decent shoes, a shirt, and a proper tie!
That's more than $1,600!
Wow!
