Is the name 'McClintock' a sept of any clan?

Hi, Above, Chas said it depends on location? My McClintocks came from Ayr. Can anyone tell me, which do I choose, MacDougall or Colquhoun?

Based solely upon the location of historic clan lands, Colquhoun seems to me to be a bit more likely, but having a link to MacDougall, I hope your McClintocks turn out to be ours.
