OOOohhhh!
I've no personal use for the Aussie Tartan, but I've always thought it was quite fetching. I can't wait to see what Matt does with it. (I do so love his 'teaser' pix)
I'm sure we can look forward to action shots in the not-too-distant future, yes?

I posted, on Facebook, that the colors are so reminiscent of Ayers Rock. Really beautiful.
[edit] Oh... and you're going to LOVE the Dalgliesh fabric!

Eye-catching tartan! I like your idea about the blue stripe.

I changed my signature. The old one was too ridiculous.

I have always thought the Australian tartan was lovely and I know how incredible both Daglish wool and Matt's kilts are. You are going to love this when you get it.

Scott, hopefully I will receive the kilt before 4 April as I hope to wear it to the biggest highland gathering in Australia. So if this happens, there will b plenty of pics to follow (I will be pairing it with that beautiful brass cantle sporran I have )
Ken, I have met with the creator of the tartan and the ochre and sunburnt colours of the Australian outback were definately an inspiration to him when he designed the tartan.

That is fantastic! What a beautiful tartan. I think it was a good choice to darken up the blue as well.

Agreed, Scott. Such a gorgeous and unique looking sett! The colour scheme is beautiful as well; very reminiscent of the Australian landscape and its wild places. Congratulations, mate! Well done!
