Waiting is painful

I am having a severe Jonesing attack today. I was out grabbing lunch yesterday and saw a gentleman coming out of the Trinity Church here in Boston wearing a very nice looking kilt with tweed jacket and vest. I ordered a tweed semi- trad package from Rocky the beginning of the month and am patiently waiting for the e-mail. I am hoping to get it time for Easter but realize that good things come to those who wait.

Ah yes the sweet sweet jones. I just got an email that my 5 yard wool in Weathered Douglas is complete and in the mail today. And I will probably be out of town when it arrives.

I can feel your pain. I've been waiting on a custom woven six-yarder from Matt Newsome since last May/June.

I'm in the same boat mate. Ordered a 8yd 16 oz kilt from Burnetts march 2 and am giddy as a 5 year old for a hew toy lol.

I know it will be worth it. I waited a lot of years saying I wanted to get a kilt to celebrate my heritage before finally saying to myself how many more years will you wait and stopped making reasons not to get the kilt and made reasons to get it instead. So I will continue to wait for Rocky and crew to finish and hope it comes closer to six weeks than ten but in the end I'm sure I will be more than satisfied with the results.
