I think you have better thrift/charity shops up there than we do down here!
I've spent many an hour scouring through such here, I used to have a regular circuit (there being five on one street!), but I've never come across any hats like that.

Richard, I think it's just the luck of the draw. We have found (over several years) two very nice outback wax wear hats and I have a nice fashion tweed cap. I have seen several tweed/wool bucket hats but the sizes were wrong.

The Tilley and the bucket hat are sweet finds. Good for you. I love my Tilley in summer and I've been thinking about switching from my flat cap with fold-down earflaps to a bucket in winter. I'd have been a happy guy, wandering into that store.
