Kilt Height

I got one kilt at jean waist height and I never wear it anymore. The rest I own I had made for the natural waist, about 2 inches above the navel, and I wear them whenever I have the opportunity, which for me means whenever I'm not at work.
I'm not trying to change your mind, just saying that kilts just feel more, well, natural at natural waist height.

So after reading through all of this, is it possible to wear a variety of kilts from my wardrobe, some with a low waist (as with my casual kilts) and also at my natural waist with a wool kilt for more formal occasions? Or will switching back and forth feel uncomfortable?

I have a few casual kilts (5.11 TDK, etc) that I wear at trouser waist, and quite a few more traditional height kilts. When I wear the kilt at the height for which it was made, both seem perfectly natural and comfortable.
