I'd agree. I have driven form Inverness, to Skye via the road to Loch Carron and the road though Glen Moriston, up through Skye to Uig, ferry to Harris, driven to Stornoway, ferry back to Ullapool and back down to Inverness> i have done this a couple of times and at different times of year. Its spectacular no matter the weather, and as a bonus, as the journey is in connection with my job, I get paid to do it .
