Oh, yes, I would. It is just my sort of programme and is such a refreshing change: no unnecessary sex scenes, no foul language, gorgeous scenery, etc., etc.
The first series or two were based on the famous stories by Sir Compton Mackenzie but then, when the producers had used all they could, brand new story lines had to be written around the same leading characters. Some of those tales have become slightly thin, but it is still a programme well worth watching.
Note for Graham: In the first episode of the latest series, Lexie returns for a visit from New Zealand, where she went with Archie, and it looks like she has persuaded Duncan to go out there to be with them both. So, he could be moving to your part of the world (in a manner of speaking!) before the series ends in Mid-November.
