I've never had a problem with the overall length, and I've never had to add extra folds.
Yours truly in the center wearing a pair of Rannoch hose in the bracken colour. One of my favourite and "go-to" colours!

Three gentlemanly "Scots" - not a faux pas in the group. And I looked hard. At least one of you could have worn sneakers or flip flops, so we would have something to complain about.
I changed my signature. The old one was too ridiculous.

Well, I kind of like that - might try it myself sometime.
I have a red Ryan Ross tam with a white toorie that I wear around Christmas with my Blaylock kilt (very red). The red hose and red flashes would certainly look cool (match-matchy) with that.

I do that occasionally. I rather like the self coloured look sometimes.

I've got it! The knot in Kyle's tie is hanging across to the left a bit. And on a less serious note, Kyle, where did you pick up the balmoral with the small saltire stuck in the top? I don't know that the look will catch on though.

Ian: Good eye! I missed that flagpole sticking right out of the top of Kyle's balmoral while not interfering with the toorie. Nice patriotic touch, though.

Well, these arrived today. Always a bit hit and miss, I feel, ordering by colour choice based on pictures seen on a monitor. However, I am absolutely delighted. I am familiar with the quality of House of Cheviot socks, so that was no surprise, but the colour was just as I had hoped, sitting somewhere between tartan red and claret. These brick red Rannoch's will pick out the red line in my Lochcarron Robertson Ancient Hunting a treat. Happy days indeed.
