I was able to attend with the family for a few hours on Sunday... I'm a newbie here, and it was our first Scottish Festival & Highland games (though my wife has been part of the Irish scene in Texas for years). This was my 2nd kilted outing (in the basic All Ireland Sport Kilt), and it was a blast! Boy was I missing out... I'm a convert, and I'm already devising a plan to acquire my future kilts.

Next year I hope to spend more time at the festival, and I'll make a point to seek out some of you X-marks members to meet in person.

Does anyone in the DFW area do any training for the games? I'm not sure I'd ever be interested in competing, but I'd like to learn more for educational and social purposes.
