That is a very fine kilt and it is very handsome on you. Why can't I have thrift stores like that around here? The best I have done so far was an unused Alexandre of London Harris Tweed jacket in blue herringbone for $20. I need to get to Toronto more often.

I should make the distinction that I got this from a "vintage shop" as opposed to a "thrift shop". In my experience, vintage shops are a good deal pricier than thrift shops but the goods are curated and they cater to specific specialties or markets.
