I typically find it more helpful to search google with "site:xmarksthescot.com" (sans-quotes) rather than use the forum search (for most any forum). There are times when it doesn't help, but usually I find what I want more quickly with that method

I could see that being helpful if I were just searching for a keyword. But trying to find a keyword posted by a specific user? You can't do that from outside the forum, can you?

no, but for your example I would do "bluebonnet tobus site:xmarksthescot.com"

It won't do exactly what you're looking for, but would give all threads that include bluebonnet and your username. This will obviously turn up more than what you're looking for, but also more than the zero you're currently getting

Obviously not the solution you're seeking, but perhaps a manageable workaround in the meantime.
