Short/suit kinda makes sense to me. I like the idea.
I live an area, if youre wearing a tie or sport coat you must be; 1. going to court or 2. going to someplace special.

As the old saying goes about nothing new under the sun, I remember seeing this same idea in the '60's, the '70's and again in the 80's. I guess it is coming around again.

To me it just looks silly. Match those shorts with a nice polo or short-sleeve shirt and it would at least make sense.

What makes no sense to me is the idea of cutting the legs off the trousers due to heat, but leaving the jacket full length. I'd rather wear the trousers sans jacket than the jacket with shorts. It just seems backwards, especially with the lack of socks. These fellows look like they are only half dressed.
Knowing my local judge as I do, if I showed up to court with shorts on, he would send me home to change with a stern lecture. No jacket, he would probably let slide.

Call the fashion police. Shorts with short white socks and black trainers is never okay.

Just because you are paranoid doesn't mean they aren't out to get you.

But, not all of us live in judge Roy Bean territory.
I changed my signature. The old one was too ridiculous.

My father was a business man in Toronto in the early 50s. There was many a business meeting held at our house. If memory serves, they all wore shorts suits (some with waistcoats, some without). I can remember being 5 years old and just starting school and wishing that I didn't have to wear long trousers.

Angus Young is in a class of his own. can't say I have or would see anybody in those get ups, especially in Australia, you'd need more courage than it takes to wear the kilt.

I saaw a gent this weekend wearing a suit with long toursers, but the jacket was a vest. Not a waistcoat, it was a full suit coat, but with no sleeves.
