I'd suggest buying an inexpensive steamer. You can get one quite reasonably ($20 or so) at any of the big pharmacy chains or Walmart etc. Just hang your kilt on the shower curtain rod and give it a good steaming while applying a wee bit of downward tension at the bottom. Works like a charm!
