    Highland Kilt co

I'm in the market for 2 to possibly 3 kilt jackets/vest combo's, That being said, I'm going to be buying one from Rocky for sure, maybe a second one from John at Keltoi. But I was just wondering if anyone has in the past purchased the tweed jacket from http://www.highlandkilt.com/formal-wear.html ? If so, could you give me a review and possibly a picture?

Based solely on the generic look of the photos and the low end sporran collection I would be very leery.

I agree 100% with Nathan on this one.

$189 is over 1/2 to a GOOD one from Rocky. Based on the sporrans and other accessories (as well as the somewhat awkward staging of the jackets in the pix) I'm guessing this is all run of the mill tartan tat from Pakistan.

Why throw $200 (shipping) away on a bet when with that same $200 you're only $170 away from a proven piece from a vendor everyone knows and is comfortable with?

I cant vouche for the jacket but I wear one of the kilts from there and would buy another one tommorow . But yes it's off shore product and you would likely be better off with something from rocky but if your ever looking for a good knockabout kilt I recommend these guys

They sell the controversial Glen Esk-styled stag buckle that isn't from Glen Esk but looks a good deal like it...
This very item was the subject of a thread a while back.
