My thoughts were the same as Ham's. Being a new kilter and living up on the Colorado Plateau, where its always windy and does snow,I've been looking at what I already have available for the coming winter.
Turns out to be one of those big Aussie oilcloth drover coats, a civil war replica Union cavalry greatcoat from Grand Illusions, and a U.S. Navy bridge coat.
Wearing a kilt with the coats buttoned will I be mistaken for a lurking flasher? Wearing the coats unbuttoned to show I am fully dressed would be damn cold.
Maybe adding knee sox is the answer, makes sense in the cold weather.
