If you've yet to pick a date then you have time to go top of the line. Recommend going top of the line 16 ounce wool in a tartan that is meaningful to you. Go with a known custom kiltmaker - NOT a middleman who has an unknown kiltmaker do the work...maybe on time, maybe not. You'll probably save money going direct as well. Custom kiltmakers can get the tartan you need.
I'm guessing you'll be married in a church and I'm guessing that church is air conditioned. Go top of the line, you'll be glad you did.
