I have three of USAkilts casual and one Semi-traditional. I love them all I used my Semi-Traditional as my go to kilt for nice events, my casual kilts are my go to summer daily wear. But if you could save a little longer a 5 yard wool is fantastic.

I have a casual PV from Rocky. Love it. Comfortable and holds pleats well.

As for sitting form, every time I do the sweep, I end up messing up the pleats pretty badly. The best method for me so far has been the method shown by Rocky in his video on the matter, wherein I stand a foot in front of the chair, perform a squat, and slide into a seated position. For cars, a belt or plaid is the way for me.

The issue is that even with my legs comfortably far apart, there are quite a few pleats on each side that are "free". In armchairs, they get squashed against the arms, and on couches, they just sit there. /offtopic

Looks like I'll be ordering the USAK Semi-trad in Davidson sometime this week.

That sounds like a sizing issue to me. When ordering, make sure to follow the measuring instructions as precisely as possible.

I did... I measured 46 on the dot and took size 46... not realizing that the straps offered so much adjustment.

Lesson learned. Better on a cheap kilt than an expensive one.
