Anybody going to be at HOTSC?
Will any of you be at the Heart of Tennessee Scottish Celebration, October 1-3, in Murfreesboro, TN?
I am making the 6+ hour drive down, just to "get away" from it all for the weekend.
Well, that and the fact that Clann An Drumma will be playing three different shows and at the Ceilidh on Saturday evening. I am looking forward to seeing them ::KEEP IT TRIBAL::
If any of you plan to be there, perhaps we can meet up?
Peace,
Mike

mike,
i'm trying to talk the wife into for next weekend. it's about 4 hours for us. won't know til sometime next week though.
if you've never seen C n D, then you're in for a great treat. they will garner a large crowd and if there isn't a hand clapping, there's a foot stomping.

This will be my first experience at a live CAD show and I am really looking forward to it. Their streaming audio is playing as I type.
If it looks like you might make HOTSC, let me know and we will try to set up a F2F.

Well, I made it back from Murfreesboro. Very good festival in a very neat vestival park setting.
Graham, get thyself to the next Clann An Drumma show available. Don't fret about the expense of a flight, it will be more than worth it. Trust me. The streaming audio is good and the CD's are even better, but that cannot tell the entire Clann story. Once you have seen them, you will never listen to their music while sitting still. WOW!
They did three sets on Saturday at the festival and then came on at a very-delayed Ceilidh on Saturday night. (I think the wait must have inspired some additional energy, IF that is possible!) And then we saw them in Bowling Green, KY on the way home yesterday afternoon.
I have been TRIBALIZED!
(Graham, you might try the other log-in over there. I met Chris on Saturday and he told me he had manually set that one up)
Peace,
Mike

Keep it Tribal, brother!
glad to hear you had a great time. i do not believe there is another group of musicians that can build such energy as Clann an Drumma.
and no doubt Graham, grab a flight! if you get out ky way, you can cop a squat on the farm. we'll swap tales and talk a little treason. ahh yes, whiskey permitted!
