Well that certainly would be one option. Purchase a sporran that you like and modify it to suit. I may not have the same "I did it myself" factor. Also, doing it yourself gives the end product a "one of" appeal. Have you done any work with stiff leather?
As Bubba has replied tgake it to a shoe leather place or down the road to me as I just purchased a walking foot industrial sewing machine to handle the leather work better. I'd be happy to sew it up for you
