My pipe major/ instructor should be in there somewhere but I can't find him in the photos. I'll let him know about these when he gets back.

If you can't find him in these pics he could possibly be in one of the other photos in my Flickr set from the event, there are 60 in total. https://www.flickr.com/photos/cessna...57645911716621

You certainly got some excellent photos of the band, Alex. It was great meeting you at the Scout hall and I noticed you taking photos at various points along the high street. The band had a grand time in Hawick, finishing up with a ceilidh in the evening organized by the Hawick Scout Pipe Band.

Sorry to have missed you, too, Jock. I learned from Alex that you were at the Inverness highland games when the band played there. I had no idea that there would be another Xmarker there. Thanks for the tip about the Oban Times. I'll let the tour organizers know that we made the local paper.

I would be delighted to send the paper to you if you wish, just PM me the address that you wish it to be sent to. We must have been inches from each other on your final March Past and Alan H was I think, throwing a hefty weight over a bar. I did have my dandelion in my bonnet, but to be fair, all of you were rather busy at the time and no doubt concentrating on other things!
