Simon,
I must say that I have never seen a jacket like that. It is a wonderful piece of clothing. It looks like it is comfortable as well as a thing of beauty to see. Congratulations on great taste and enjoy!

You made a good choice there, Simon, well done. It looks grand! <Ponders how it might look above a kilt and bias-cut waistcoat in the R'Lyeh tartan. Hoo-yeah!>
Incidentally, the Lady Crystel and Robert have an image of my le Villeneuve on her website. It is the Bamboo Velvet Doublet, and it is what I am wearing in my avatar, with my Cameron of Erracht (weathered) kilt. My, we cut a dashing bunch, don't we Simon?
I wonder if the roll of material in the photo with Chrystel on her home page, is that same recent weaving of the Norwegian Night tartan from which my piece was cut before Martons sent the rest of it to Chrystel? I think it is every bit as handsome as Black Stewart; but it will be many moons before I sew mine up into a wearable garment.

Indeed we are quite the sartorial thing Ian! Funny but I will be wearing mine with my Cameron of Erracht weathered kilt too.
