    What a nice obituary. I can remember hearing her on NPR as far back as the 80`s. Thanks for posting.

    The simplicity of her delivery was the perfect setting for that stunning voice. Learned to love it on "Thistle and Shamrock"
    and Prairie Home Companion. Was lucky enough to hear her live some, once with Doc Watson. In a small venue, with
    no sound support, a capella, she seemed completely without pretensions. Her "Song of the Seals" reaches something in
    me nothing else does.
