eBay sporran
I have one inexpensive looks-nice-in-photos dress sporran. It's time to upgrade. I can't quite afford to commission one right now. I found one that I like on eBay, but I am not sure from the description that the cantle is metal. The listing just says that it's "Antique Finish". It's chinchilla fur.
It's about $130-ish. What are the odds that the cantle is metal?
A quick search on the forum here of the sellers name, Kilts Wi Hae, turned up no results. I have emailed the seller with my question. I am wondering if any among the rabble has experience with this seller.

Reason: price was off by a decimal!

I have experience with this seller. They also list via Amazon.
No problems with them at all, although their ship times from Scotland are not always the quickest the products I have purchased from them are of standard or better quality rather than crappy knockoffs.
Hope that helps.

And PS--The Antique finish means it is a brushed or matt/matte finish on the metal, rather than the blingy chromed finish meant to look like polished silver. FWIW.

I ordered my groomsmen boutonnieres from them and I didn't have any problems with them per se. Only problem was that the time it took to get to me. They arrived in time for the wedding but it took nearly a month to arrive once they shipped. Not their fault, but customs.

I've purchased a couple of items from this seller over the past year. The items arrived promptly, are as advertised and of good quality. I would not hesitate to buy from this seller again.

It's interesting, because their prices are below most genuine Made In Scotland sporrans (or their exact North American equivalent, L&M Highland Outfitters sporrans) yet well above the normal prices of the Made In Pakistan sporrans.
Just to check, are their sporrans stamped Made In Scotland?
