No, it's not Lamont. What IS it?

Yes, we all are in Ancient Campbell.
As for me I can wear Ancient Campbell or Wallace, only problem being I don't have a kilt in Wallace. The boys the same, but they can also wear Forrester on their mom's side. Their mom also has Campbell heritage, so for the most part we've all started out Campbell. The boys are very into it; my son with the bankers shirt on bought that and the tie (with matching cuff links) specifically to wear with his new kilt. I have not seen that boy in a tie in a very long time! My other son has kilt envy bad, but he will get his in November on his birthday, as the other two did.

We are a Lamont Clan family (one one stripe difference at least from this tartan) and my in-laws, who are not the Scottish side of the family, got us Christmas Stockings made in the Lamont Clan tartan: Modern for my son and daughter, and Ancient for me.
Grumble, grumble.
So, now I'm the ancient tartan wearer and I guess the younger generation are the modern ones. My kids are named "Brodie" and "Logan" so they enjoy finding tartans that match their names despite no lineage to connect them.
When they're older, they'll have kilts in Lamont, and I hope to post a picture just like this one. Thanks for sharing.

That's funny Hugh. Do you feel ancient at times? I do!
My middle son's birthday is late November, so maybe by Christmas we'll have the gang of 4...
Enjoy!

Ancient is perspective. My black hair at birth began turning white about age 12. At 27, strangers began asking how long my mother and I had been married to each other. In my early 30's I began getting 'senior citizen' discounts offered, not asked for. And once, a server asked my dad what his "father" wanted to drink. Currently I am 56yo. And my students think I graduated in '76 (1876). LOL
So be young while you can.

It's funny. I'm losing my hair (but keeping the youthful color) and I always wish it would just turn gray and not fall out. The grass is always greener on someone else's head. (Or something like that.)
