Still very much a live topic IMHO.
With only a week to go before the vote the Westminster parties people tabled new proposals so the issue changed from being Independence -v- status quo, to Independence -v- a more powerful devolved Scottish parliament within the UK, and this undoubtedly affected the result.
People in Scotland, whether they voted Yes or No, are united in a wait and see attitude as to whether Westminster can actually deliver. If not, a second referendum on independence will almost certainly be on the cards.
The irony of last night's violence in Glasgow by neo-nazis is that they have succeeded in uniting both sides of the campaign in strong condemnation of their conduct. Not only did they set fire to our national flag The Saltire but they did so while carrying or wearing the Union Jack, degrading the flag of our beloved Queen Elizabeth, a gross act of disloyalty and treason in direct defiance of Her Majesty's plea earlier in the day for people to unite in a spirit of mutual respect and support.
