OK, we know who is going to be there. We know what we will be doing.
We know what movies we will be watching.
All we need to do now is decide who will be the next recipient of THE TARTAN TIGHTS?

There are some things I don't need to see at 0715hrs on a Saturday morning and this is one of them Steve. Perhaps a warning system could be instituted on the forum.

I just saw the thread and began bugging my wife about me going. I hope to finally make it to Kamp in '15.
"The Highland dress is essentially a 'free' dress, -- that is to say, a man's taste and circumstances must alone be permitted to decide when and where and how he should wear it... I presume to dictate to no man what he shall eat or drink or wherewithal he shall be clothed." -- The Hon. Stuart Ruaidri Erskine, The Kilt & How to Wear It, 1901.

Oh, Harlan, You've been silent or missing for a few months, and NOW you decide to "contribute"? You can't just decide to pipe up whenever you want. I doesn't work like that.

I've been busy sewing. The Highland Granite box pleat is finished, The MacLaren is test pleated three different ways for my brother's decision, and I just picked up 8 yds of regimental weight Black Watch from Barb.
Oh, I also finished nalbinding a stunning new hat I think will go well with your uniform (although to be honest I've never actually seen you wear your uniform. You do have a uniform, don't you?). I had to guess on the size of the hat but I thought I remembered you having a fatter, I mean, bigger head than me. Or maybe it just seemed bigger .....

So, reading between the lines, not icky if we bought you a pair of your own? Done! I think Harlan and I could spring for a pair, sharing the extraordinary expense, of course, right Harlan? We'll be sure to get you a swell color!

Very disappointed in you Barb. You're not helping. As an instructor and a pillar in the community, I would have thought that you'd recognized that Harlan is a not so very reformed Jr. High bully. All he needs is an audience, and he will act out. Is it not enough that you two have continued this sewing relationship without me? Now, you feel you must team up against me? Shame.
