    I started in May and thought the same thing. The first thing I did was buy a terrible chanter that the pipe band I joined made me give a Viking funeral. If that is a picture of what you bought, I think you're going to have the same problem.

    Next, I learned things all sorts of wrong. As an adult, it's hard to unlearn something once you learn it the wrong way.

    I would search for local pipe bands as many are very helpful in teaching new pipers.

    If that is not an option, check out www.pipersdojo.com. I have played with them a little and they seem OK. If anyone on here has feedback on Piper's Dojo, I'd love to hear it.
