Kilted Nights in NoVA
Is anyone interested in a kilted night out in Northern Virginia? I live in Manassas, and would enjoy some kilted company for a wee drink and conversation. I recently retired from the US Army and moved to the area.

Heritage Brewery in your backyard would be a good place to meet especially when they have a special event.

So hen do you want to meet up?
BTW, since you are retired Army, you may be interested in the Scottish American Military Society. The Post of the Potomac is quite active in our area.

Geoff, My apologies for such a tardy reply. It depends on location and traffic, but I would think any decent pub or such would suffice. Weekends are best. I was a member of S.A.M.S for a while back in the '80s, but I was living in Korea and could not get involved. I will definitely look at the Post of the Potomac. Thanks!

Ern, I dropped by Heritage Brewing Company this afternoon to sample their brews. The guy who served us knew you. He said you're a great guy. I tasted four of their fine brews, but I decided I like this one the best.

I concur with you that Heritage Brewing Company would be a great kilted night location.

My favorite, too. Yet to have it out of the can, though.

I dislike beer from a can; however, we were pressed for time so I purchased this to carry home. I much prefer draught beer or bottled beer.

No longer there, but used to live in Fairfax. Nice area. Hope you find a bunch of local kilt wears!
