If I may reply for myself, but I think most of my comrades will go along:
It was our privilege to serve.

Don't know what to say. I did my 4 years as a dog handler, came home alive.
Those 4 years defined who I am today.
Now I wear kilts!
Si Deus, quis contra? Spence and Brown on my mother's side, Johnston from my father, proud member of Clan MacDuff!

Just calculated that the first time I raised my hand and said the oath was 57years and 7months ago. Suddenly, I feel very old.
Hats off to my fellow Vets. Thank you for your service.

I can never remember my age, because it keeps changing every year.
