One of the advantages of being Canadian is that we get our Thanksgiving well before our Amerifriends, but being that time on your calendar, here's a sincere wish for a happy Thanksgiving, and survival of Black Friday.

Also, just thinking of all of you who love R'lyea (and I've undoubtedly mis-spelled it) here's your Thanksgiving Cthurkey:

I also pride myself on being a Mayflower descendant, cant recall right now if Brewster is one of them. My main ancestor was that pesky ships Cooper who stole the girl

I have family that came over on the Mayflower, but I'm not sure who.

Since my father's direct ancestors lived in Plymouth for over three hundred years (7 generations), I have proven many, many lines back to many Mayflower passengers. It amazes me that my very existence was dependent on a few folk who crossed the Atlantic in a small ship so many years ago. I sure am thankful for that.
Anyway, lately I have become very interested in the families from whom I also descend that came to the Plymouth area after the Mayflower, or, as we say, "came on the Juneflower" Many have names that coincide with families associated with different Scottish clans, including my own (Davie/Davee-Clan Davidson). At least nine others are associated with clans that are also part of Clan Chattan. I hope to prove some connections in the coming years.
BTW, Brewster is a name associated with Clan Fraser.
