Missed the first Kilted Friday of the year. I wimped out due to my USA Kilts PV Casual kilt not being warm enough for the hour snow shoveling at 25 F that preceded my workday. Really need to get myself a nice tank.

Technically had a kilted Friday. Played bagpipes for my grandma's memorial service yesterday. We then drove up to the mountains - Idyllwild for those who know SoCal. Wanted to wear the kilt up here, but the wife was against that.

I know the feeling - I had a Kilted Saturday instead - went to a family gathering in my Menzies tartan, black and white, wife tolerates but rolls eyes, mother makes an issue of it as she sees all kilts as daft clothing. I have learnt just to do as I feel like, let them deal with their issues.

Tried to link pictures but I think the Forum is still playing up...

Since I don't have a work schedule I'll post this as my Kilted Friday. My wife is a High School wrestling referee , she asked me to come and video her for training. While in the gym several of the wrestlers said the loved the outfit. As one group of young men were walking away I heard them say "That's awesome I want to get a kilt." ID:	23832Here's my pic of said Menzies kilt - not sure if photos are still working on here - but I wore it yesterday - the type of work I do isn't kilt-friendly so I'd never get a chance for a Kilted Friday, sadly I was wearing it sans sporran yesterday

-1F and shovelling snow in the kilt this morning... then into work (High School) for Kilted Friday. I have now one other young kilted lad and more interested. By the end of the year, we should have a good little crew!!

Kilted Friday for me! My size seems to have fluctuated since I last wore this particular kilt three weeks ago. It's a little looser today. Go me!

Oh jeez…got the exact opposite situation…had to open up a notch.

Figure that I'll probably wear the kilt this evening especially if a couple of my cousins, who are from out of town, show up for the Friday night downtown two-pub-pub-crawl. They've never seen me in a kilt and I get no end of jokes about it….let's see how many "new" kilt jokes they can come up with…as if there are any "new" kilt jokes.

Also got Duke of Perth day tomorrow so I'll probably do it again…

    Best,
