    They are often referred to a "fashion tartans".

    Although I have received great service from buyakilt in the past, for a budget kilt it appears that you get more bang (material) for the buck with the Tartanista offering, which will aid in it looking more like a proper kilt. With some well purchased accessories (perhaps an exhire jacket from MacGregor and MacDuff above) you should do just fine.
