Speaking of beach towels...
After years of trying on those "one size fits all, but me" bath robes, I've been thinking a kilted bath rap made from a heavy cotton like they make towels from might be the ticket.

Really though, help a guy out and tell me it'll all be alright. Lie if you have to!
Sadly it will only get worse. The only solution is to buy more kilts, besides how long will you actually have to wait? I still have a month to go before my next kilt gets here.

The Great Jones
(Etymology)
Q: East Third Street becomes Great Jones Street between Broadway and the Bowery. Who was Jones and what was so great about him?
A. Jones is Samuel Jones, a lawyer sometimes called Father of the New York Bar. He owned the land on which Great Jones Street now runs and bequeathed the property to the city with the caveat that any street that ran through the land be named for him.
In 1789 a street was opened there, but New York already had a Jones Street in Greenwich Village. So the new street was named Great Jones Street because it was wider than the norm.
In his desire to be remembered, Jones may have linked himself with a different aspect of the city's culture. The slang term "jones," meaning an addiction to drugs, is said to have originated among addicts who lived in Great Jones Alley, off Great Jones Street, between Broadway and Lafayette Street.

Try renting one until the big day arrives. That was how I got to wear my first kilt.

Just to cheer you up mine hasn't arrived yet but it shouldn't be many days now. It will no doubt sit in customs for a few days too.
The Beach towel doesn't seem like a bad Idea.

David, I'm thinking of using the beach towel with the fishies on it. I just don't think terrycloth was ever meant for such a thing.
