My wife and I went out to the casino this evening for some fun to celebrate 15 years of wedded bliss. I wore my kilt, and comments ran the gamut from "nice kilt" to "it's so nice to see a gentleman in a kilt" (gentleman? You mean me?) to asking what clan. There were 2 bagpipe questions.
The best one, though, was from a 20 something gal "I love your skirt", followed immediately by a very irritated look from her male companion as he said to her "it's a kilt!" She looked truly embarrassed and immediate said "I'm so sorry".
No biggie, maybe her man will now have to get one.
