Here cause I'm not all here.
I'm innocent I tell ya! It's all Rocky's fault. That's my story and I'm sticking to it.
I'm Mike, 53 y/o, retired from the Navy and living in eastern NC. Wish I could say I'm not working but I got addicted to food and Harley's somewhere along the way and neither one is cheap.
Got interested in family background about a year or so ago and started looking. Found a lot of stuff that I wish I hadn't and, like a cat, had to bury it quickly. Also traced a lot of the famly back to the British Isles. From there I started looking into tartans and kilts but wasn't really impressed.
About a month ago I decided to try an inexpensive kilt, just to see if I liked it. One! One mind you, USA Casual Kilt and I'm hooked. I now have it and a Philabeg in the house. a traditional that should be here tomorrow or the next day and one on order for the wife. My God Rocky, you have created a monster!!
I've lurked this borad since Rocky told Me about it and have learned a lot. Looking forward to talking with all of you.
Oh and by the way, Rocky and Kelly aren't really bad people. I had a chance to get up and visit with them around the first of the month. Great folks, great visit and a real good time. Thanks to you both.
Mike

Welcome aboard Mike, glad you could join us. You'll fit right in here. Since we're all addicted to kilts you'll feel normal.

Welcome Mike, enjoy the additiction.
I lived in Raleigh and Youngsville back from '65 to '70 when the only men wearing MUGs were KKK members at their cross burning rallies.
Sounds like N.C. has made some progress in the last 40 years.
Welcome aboard,
