Very well put, hadn't thought of it in those terms.
I see that more at work then anywhere else. Some folks I've seen nearly every day for over ten year who've never said a word have started talking, and others whom I spoke with daily who will not even look at me when wearing a kilt.
I'm happy to hear, your Walmart run uneventful. The reaction from the college girls reminds me of walking into a little bar in Oklahoma about 20 years ago, I had hair down to my waist. The only thing that didn't go silent, turn and stair was a jukebox in the corner, I wondered if I'd be leaving on my feet or not.
