Thank you and a year of progress
First, thank you to the various members of XMTS that have inspired and informed me in kilt wearing. Last year, I decided that I really needed to start wearing my kilt more. I have had a kilt since 1998 when I was a university student in Scotland. Slowly, my use of this kilt had declined. I also decided I needed to increase the quality of the attire that I wore with the kilt. This site and its members have helped greatly with this.
Anyway, I maintain a blog on the local history that I am generally obsessed with and reenact. Starting the end of this past summer, however, I decided to take a break from some of the reenacting, etc. in order to spend more focus on Highland attire and other pursuits (especially shooting and fly fishing). As a result, I decided to create a small blog posting on this adventure in Highland attire and with a number of fun photos. Here it is... http://frenchinwisconsin.com/2015/03...ve-been-up-to/ I hope some of you enjoy it!

I have been here a mighty long time, and I still learn a lot. So I do understand what you speak of.

Nice photomontage, Isaac. It nicely shows your inspiration and how you interpret it.
