    Sorry I forgot about Curling. It's even further "under the radar" here than rugby... I'd wager most Americans have never heard of it.

    We at least at one time had some sort of local Curling league- a couple local malls had ice rinks and I'd see ice hockey and curling matches there sometimes. Both these rinks are gone BTW.

    When curling is on TV, which isn't often, I do enjoy watching it. Obviously it involves an incredible amount of skill, and clever strategies. Some of the bowls/shots/stones (?) are quite amazing.

    I think a lot of Americans are familiar with curling just from watching the winter Olympics. I have always enjoyed watching it. Now, isn`t there a certain Scottish island where those beautiful curling stones are quarried?
