Ordering Issues
Ladies and Gents:
I have been informed that several people inside the U.S. have placed order requests through their military or other government e-mail accounts. Freedom Kilts is in Canada and the government filters will not allow them to respond. Anyone wanting to purchase tartan fabric or kilts must contact Freedom Kilts through a regular e-mail account or by phone. I don't know if other countries are having the same problem but just to be safe, everyone should use their non-government accounts.
Thank you.

Hello Dale,
My nephew is a Navy EOD officer (currently Lieutenant). Can you tell me whether he is eligible to wear this tartan?

Hello back Barb:
Absolutely he is!
It was designed specifically for all military and public safety Bomb Disposal Technicians of all nations and their immediate families. If he is interested, just tell him not to use his military e-mail address or phone number to place an order. Steve has been unable to get through to everyone who has because of the government filters.
All the best.

Thanks! I'm going to order the tartan and make the kilt for him.

I didn't read carefully, and I didn't realize until I talked with Steve that the tartan is going to be woven in 12 oz PV. Bummer. I think I'll give it a miss.

Sorry to hear that. Pass the info on to him in case he wants to order one from Steve.
My prayers for his safety and all the best to you!

Neither he nor I would be interested in 12 oz PV for a kilt.

On the other hand, I might want to get a single kilt length in heavy weight wool custom woven from Dalgliesh to make him a kilt. Would you give me permission to do that?

If I may say so Barb, what a wonderful thought and would be a super thing to do. I do hope permission is granted.
