    Scottish Wildcat first kilt

Thought you all might like to see the first kilt in the Scottish Wildcat tartan. It's for our tartan designer, McMurdo, and it just happened that he and my husband are almost the same size, so I had him model it for all y'all with the kit he had on hand. The kilt is now packed up and on its way to McMurdo!

As was discussed at length in another thread (http://www.xmarksthescot.com/forum/f...71/index4.html), the color of the tartan in photos is strongly influenced by the color temperature of the illumination. The first three pictures below were taken with illumination from a north-facing window. The last one with the pleats splayed was taken only a few feet away but with room lighting.

Pants is only a present tense verb here. I once panted, but it's all cool now.

I am really looking forward to this one. I have not had a new kilt in years. Thanks again Barb for all your help with both the design process and for all the support and encouragement when I was about to walk away from the project. Your work on the entire process including this first kilt humbles me. I would also like to thank Alan H for everything up to this point, it was your vision that got us here, the entire team can and should be very proud of the results.

Elegant-looking kilt, and outfit for that matter. Nice pics and backgrounds. You have a great model. Do you pay him union wages?
I changed my signature. The old one was too ridiculous.
