Wildcat Tartan second run
If you missed the first one and want to get in on the second run, Paul Henry is taking orders now.

I just communicated with him on FB today and I believe he's getting close to a point where he can submit the second order. Upshot is, if you want some yardage, don't wait much longer!

Wonderful news Alan! Paul Henry very kindly sent me an off cut of the wildcat tartan the other day and to my non-artistic eye it looks so much better in real life than any picture that I have seen.
You may be interested to know that one of the stalkers popped round for a wee blether the other day-----as they do------and he noticed the tartan on the desk and for a man of very few words and renowned for keeping his council, he thought that it was very appropriate for a new shooting suit(a bit trendy though) if it was in thicker tweed and err, well, the thick black lines, the brown and the sober yellow looked just like a wildcat might! He had no idea of the wildcat tartan enterprise! A countryman of sound practical observation and knowledge of his ground, I would say!

Jock, that's fantastic! A tweed. Hmmm. Hmmmm...... Perhaps worth a message to Robin Elliott...

Jock Scot, I`d say you have a very perceptive man there, and what a compliment to the design talents of Mr. Allardyce.

It is a lovely tartan, and having a kilt made of it would be a pleasure. However, the current exchange rate prices the tartan out of my range for now, at least in the quantity required for making a kilt. I think I'll have to settle for making a straight donation to the cause of the Scottish Wildcat. But kudos to all of the folks who worked together to create the tartan -- you did a good job.

Pants is only a present tense verb here. I once panted, but it's all cool now.
