SNOWFALL
I'm GMan and I approve this post
Today we finally had some measurable snow fall on the ground.
I did my usual visit to the coffee shop with a sweater and Bear kilt around my body, completely warm and comfortable.
No one said anything about whether I was cold or not, I just loved it . Did notice however several others coming in all shivering. Some were even wearing shorts.
A very good day so far.

Glen,
Snow is a four letter word.
We have been spared, so far.

Gman,
We are enjoying a fine fall day here in
North Carolina.
85 degrees and wonderful sunshine.
I actually love cool weather.
So I am ready for a fall.
WE haven't even had any frost. :x
Canada is sounding better all the time!

Glen, we have around half an inch or so on the ground at the moment, and its snowing lightly as I type. Sadly the wind was to much for my Victory kilt to handle, it hurts when ice pellets hit your sensitive bits . Tomarrow though, I will be wearing the kilt as I participate in my third presidential election,

Dylan, my area hasn't had a good snow pack for the last five years. We are in a major draught with over seventy families who hadtheir wells go dry. The population keeps growing and the water supply keeps shrinking, a good snow would help matters.

well in that case, I do suppose snow is quite beneficial! Sorry for the miscommuncation. Problem is up in Calgary, we get a wee bit too much snow, and I don't especially care for it.

Dylan, no miscommunication, it's just that with the water situation people get all worked up over the snow. Tomarrow I'll be hearing people complain about their roads not being plowed right away or why isn't there heaters in the roads to keep them clear(I hear this from west Texans all the time ), or wondering why they went off the road when they had their vehicle in four wheel drive .
