    You're right, my mistske. This 'blue' setting is the only version of Tulloch that HOE offer and I therefore assume that is they that are in error. STWR is actually one man: I don't know whether McGH called it 'Blue' but guess but based on the sample posted that would be erroneous. I assume that the Clan Davidson followed the STWR lead.

    In any case, I for one would like to see it formally registered, and when I can swing it, get a kilt in the blue. I think it's a nice looking tartan.

    By formally, I assume that you mean with the Scottish Tartans RegisIer? In that case, I very much doubt that will happen because no-one owns the design and the Keeper of the Register would be unlikely to accepted it as 'new and unique'. It will be entered into the STA's Master Database which is actually considerably larger than the NTR.
